Process
These protest bags with hand-painted texts were created as a reaction to many aspects and events of contemporary reality. NEITHER FORGIVE NOR FORGET appeared in the context of the discussion on granting immunity to the military for past human rights violations. Generally speaking, the texts on these bags have to do with social justice and being accountable for the other, that is, they are Banner-Bags. Up to now, all the bags have been hand-painted by Juana Díaz, the designer herself.
