Collection created using second hand clothes as its sole raw material.

These garments were unstitched and the resulting pieces were placed on parts of the body for which they had not been intended, thereby altering the order of the original pattern. All the pieces were used by placing them on a dressmaker’s dummy, the sole intervention being pleats or darts. This resulted in unique garments susceptible of replication.

Deconstruction and reconstruction of clothing, starting from old clothes to create cutting-edge garments.
A methodology invented by Juana Diaz, which has been put into practice by students, with remarkable results.
The use of second-hand clothing made it possible to have access to fibers and fabrics otherwise unavailable in the Chilean market.
