The editorial fashion project Truth and Justice was born in response to the need to communicate through our work something other than the mere display of goods for commercial purposes.

The idea was to show our work in a different way but with the same elements that are generally used for this purpose: products, places, models, makeup and hair, recorded photographically.

The purpose was to try to prove that not always what is described as “fashion” is a frivolity of the world of wasteful consumption of luxury goods. We believe that fashion is a reflection of our culture and bespeaks of human beings and their customs just like any other artistic expression.

The backdrop for this was the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the military coup in Chile and all the pain and indignation that this provokes in us and many others; the fact that there is still neither truth nor justice in too many cases of violations of human rights; a context in which no one related to the national fashion scene has said anything about it. Thus, our aim was to use fashion to convey our pain and protest.
This project was developed using WALKA art jewelry.
